Petrogenesis and tectonic implications of the Late Jurassic A-type granite in central Inner Mongolia, North China

Lying along the south of Mongol–Okhotsk Suture Belt (MOSB) in Horqin Right Middle Banner Inner Mongolia, Chuhuertu granite is exposed Duerji tectonic melange. Based on systematic field geological characteristics, petrology, geochemistry, and zircon U-Pb chronology, we determined petrogenesis pluton setting, provide evidence for dominant factors magmatism study area. LA-ICP-MS dating showed an age 155.6 ± 1.6 Ma, indicating that formation Late Jurassic. The geochemically characterized by high SiO 2 (73.04–76.01 wt.%) alkali (Na O + K = 7.81–9.50 but low CaO (0.20–0.98 MgO (0.10–0.22 wt.%). has obvious negative Eu anomaly (Eu 0.30–0.75), relative enrichment Rb, Th, U, K, Ga, depletion Ba, Sr, P, Ti, as well 10000Ga/Al (2.52–2.90), TFeO/MgO (5.76–14.90). differentiation index (DI) samples 92.05–96.36. petrological, mineralogical, geochemical characteristics show highly differentiated A-type granite. In accordance with region, Mesozoic granites have positive correlation ε Nd ( t ) values, which suggest may formed through partial melting intermediate basic crust neoaccretion under pressure temperature, subsequent crystallization differentiation.
